Project Overall Objective

To increase the number of teenage and young mothers participating in decision-making  spaces in the annual development plan and formation stages.

Achievements

Established and led a consortium of five organizations in Nakuru County to implement AEHRE, aimed at advancing Gender equality and increasing young women and girls' participation in decision-making platforms in the county. Reached to 2,500 Young Women and Girls.

Project Overall Objective

To raise awareness and knowledge of the constitution implementation to enhance citizen participation in setting up a people-centered, accountable, and responsive devolved government.

Achievements

• Reached 7500 people during the community awareness forums
• 328 dialogue forum conducted
• 4 social audit workshops conducted

Project Overall Objective

The focus of the project was to contribute to HIV prevention by raising awareness of Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) and its health benefits, providing HIV Counselling and Testing, and offering free and voluntary Medical Male Circumcision.

Achievements

The project mobilized 100 clients, who include people of different ages, educational levels/backgrounds.

Project Overall Objective

The project's purpose was to support Community Health Promotors in carrying out community-based activities, namely Contact tracing of New smear-positive TB cases, defaulter tracing of TB patients who interrupt treatment, household visits, and screening of the members in the household of the Index case of the contact.

Achievements

• 1000 Household visits conducted
• 800 People screened for TB
• 300 TB defaulters traced and Returned to treatment
• 22 TB and HIV Awareness forums conducted

Project Overall Objective

To mobilize Kenyan citizens to effectively participate in the constitution review process and promote peaceful co-existence among different communities in the Naivasha constituency.

Achievements

Raised civic knowledge to 15,000 people in different forums, including intercultural events and sports outreaches, and effectively participated in the referendum process.

To expand the coverage of targeted HIV and AIDS prevention and mitigation interventions through mobilizing Most Risk populations for HIV Testing Counseling and other health services.

Achievements

Over 2000 people received HIV testing and counseling services through community outreaches.

SPEAK was mandated to reach youth in and out of school with Abstinence and being faithful massages and where appropriate information on condoms and other family planning commodities.

Achievements

Reached 1,200 youth in the District and mentored 25 peer educators.

To promote reconciliation and peaceful co-existence after the post-election violence which affected mostly residents of the Naivasha constituency.

Achievements

Carried out 24 community theatre outreaches reaching 1800 people with peace messages in the constituency.
