To enhance community understanding of Gender-based violence (GBV) and Violence against children (VAC) and commitment to preventing GBV and VAC through behavioral change initiatives.

Achievements

Enhanced awareness and capacities to prevent GBV and VAC among 240 Girls, 120 Women, 240 Youths in Boda-boda and Sports.

Project Overall Objective

To enhance awareness, build local capacities, and implement evidence-based advocacy activities for the accelerated delivery of legal aid and access to formal and informal justice systems for marginalized women and girls in Nakuru County.

Achievements

1. 854 cases reported, 182 resolved and 580 cases refereed
2. Strengthened Nakuru County Court Users Committee's capacity on Legal and Policy Framework on Legal Aid and Access to Justice.
